Enhancing Quality in Primary Health Care in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, in association with the Andhra Pradesh Health Sector Reform program (APHSRP). The project aims at improving access to quality health services especially to the poor and the underserved population. The present project is part of a technical assistance which is expected to strengthen the health department’s capacity, especially at the district level and below to achieve that goal.
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF)
Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (URHI) in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Design, implement and maintain monitoring system in ten cities in UP. The project is being implemented by a consortium of agencies led by Family Health International (FHI). Foundation for Research in Health Systems (FRHS) was requested to prepare a “white paper” on family planning and demographic transition in urban UP and to make recommendations for the URHI program design.
CARE India
Sustained Nutrition Education Health and Livelihood (SNEHAL) Project with Health & Family Welfare Department of Government of Gujarat (GoG), supported by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). It was a multidimensional project for Social Service Rehabilitation (Health, Nutrition and Education), Livelihood and Disaster proof community infrastructures in four disaster prone areas (Kutch, Patan, Rajkot and Surendranagar). FRHS responsibility was to document the project.
Government of Gujarat - Jana Swasthya Abhiyaan – National Rural Health Mission
Conceptualizing the plan of action for Community Based Monitoring (CBM) of health services through Village Health and Sanitation Committees (VHSC), to ensure access to quality health care services. The scope of the pilot project is to reach about 3800 VHSCs from 78 blocks of 23 districts with the help of 25 partner NGOs working in the respective areas.. FRHS works as a nodal agency coordinating the work of the 25 partner NGOs
